I still remember where I was sitting in the Benton Convention Center in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, the first time I heard Debra Bell speak. Her experience encouraged me. Her insights and wisdom challenged me; her vision inspired me. She spoke of her journey toward becoming a more gracious parent though her homeschooling. She was honest and real about the difficulties she had faced, but reminded me that I could trust God to be faithful no matter what.
