A high tootin’ adventure for all ages!  The train museum will expose us to Foley’s rich train history and has several model trains on display.  The Holmes Hospital Museum is just a few short blocks away and boasts “This fascinating museum will definitely take you back in time, as you stroll through the first hospital to serve southern Baldwin County, Alabama.   You’ll view the actual operating room, patient rooms and vintage medical equipment.  All artifacts featured are from an earlier era of medical technology, authentic to the time period during which this hospital was in operation.” In between tours, we will stop at Stacey’s Ole Time Soda Shop where “You’ll truly go back in time! The oldest pharmacy in Foley is still known for their “Ole Time Soda Fountain” and 10 cent coffee. Our ‘FIZZitians’ are serving sodas, shakes, sundaes and more.” Fun and yum!
