The 2015 Mobile Area Homeschool Prom

We would like to cordially invite all area homeshooled Seniors and Juniors and their parents to attend the 2015 Prom. Each Senior or Junior may invite one guest, in addition to their parents. Please, fill out the attached form and return it, along with your payment, by April 4, 2015. Seating is limited so get your registration in as quickly as possible. Your payment will include: a live band and DJ, swing dance instruction, a full, seated meal with salad, your choice of entrée, side dishes, dessert, beverages, and a keepsake. We are very excited about this year’s venue, downtown at Spot of Tea. The entrée choices are mouth-watering, and the location – at beautiful Cathedral Square – will provide a lovely setting for pictures and memories. Parking on the square is free after 5:00pm or there is a parking lot directly behind the restaurant on Jackson Street. The fee for the lot will be between $5 and $10 for the evening. Professional photographer, William Starling, will have a studio on site for portrait sittings before dinner, starting at 6:00pm. After the prom you will receive a disc of your portrait sitting by mail. The discs are $30, and $15 for each additional disc of the same sitting. Payment will be made directly to the photographer immediately preceding your sitting. This event calls for formal, modest attire. Girls’ dresses may be floor or cocktail length, and should avoid leg slits above the knee, backless dresses, and excessive cleavage. All dresses must pass the front and back “bend over” test. Young men should wear a tuxedo or suit. Parents attending the prom should be in “Sunday” dress, including suit and tie for the men and dresses for the ladies. If you plan to attend the prom with a party of more than two, please list the names of those with whom you wish to be seated for the meal. Tables of four, six, and eight are available.
